Location: Star Bright Farm
2950 Garrett RoadFYI, it is about a 45 minute drive from Baltimore, so plan accordingly.
We'll put up some "Nancy + Kristian" signs to keep things marked once you're close. Please drive directly to the address listed on Star Bright Farm's website or above — there will be parking in a field right behind the barn.
We recommend that you take 83 North out of Baltimore. You then just keep driving North, it will feel like you've almost gotten to Pennsylvania... You're almost there. You're now looking for Exit 36, Maryland Highway 439 East (MD-439E). You then follow MD-439 5.7 miles to Garrett Rd. Turn right on Garrett Road. Star Bright Farm is about half a mile down Garrett road on your right. Go past the house and turn into the driveway that takes you up past the barn. Parking is in the field behind the barn.
Sunday!
10am–12pm
Egg-Bake Brunch
Location: Nancy + Kristian’s House
735 Bay StreetIt's best to park on Chestnut Avenue (put 3000 Chestnut into your GPS). We then live up a flight of stairs from Chestnut Ave.
If there isn't parking directly on Chestnut Avenue, there may be parking on Keswick avenue as well. Or, you could park in the Steiff Silver lot and wander over through our neighborhood
There isn't any parking in our neighborhood — so Chestnut is the place to start
We reserved a large block of rooms at a hotel right downtown — The Brookshire Suites. When you call for a reservation, please tell them you are part of the Iverson/Bjornard wedding block. To make sure you get a room in our block and at our special rate please call them no later than September 12th.
The hotel is pretty small. If you stay there you’ll pretty much only be with other wedding guests. It’s a new(ish) hotel, owned by a small hotel company from DC, and it’s trying to be “gritty” and “baltimore-y.” Breakfast is served on the top floor where you can look out over the harbor — it’s a nice view. The inner harbor is close enough to walk to and it isn’t too far from many of the other interesting things Baltimore has to offer either.
The closest airport is BWI — Baltimore Washington International. We recommend you fly into there. You can get to downtown Baltimore from BWI by the lightrail or by taxi fairly simply. You can also fly into Reagan or Dulles in DC if necessary, though they are both rather far from Baltimore and are not easy to travel to and from.
For those of you coming from out of town, on Saturday we’re renting some busses so that you won’t have to find your own way to the party. The busses will pick you up right at the hotel, and then drop you back off there at the end of the night.
Easy peasy.
Getting around Baltimore without a car can be tough, but here are your best bets from downtown:

Please know that there is no need for a gift.
All that we want is to share a lovely wedding weekend with our family and friends. It is your presence we are after, not your presents.
If you would like to give a gift and are looking for inspiration, we have setup a gift registry at myregistry.com
Or, there are two organizations you could honor us by making a donation to: Donate Life Maryland or Future Harvest. A dear friend of ours — Amy Sherald — recently had a life saving heart transplant. Donate Life does work getting people to become organ donors with the hopes of saving a lot of other lives. Future Harvest funds Nancy's current farm apprenticeship, and they work in the greater Maryland area to make agriculture better for farmers, consumers, and the planet.
